Our Practice

We are a remote and in-person psychotherapy practice providing mental health services virtually, as well as in our Los Angeles and Santa Monica offices.

Psychotherapy is a collaborative exploration of your way of being, where dialogue in a compassionate atmosphere that is caring, confidential, and non-judgmental makes you safe to explore how your life experiences have impacted who you are, your relationships, and how you conduct yourself in the world.

Our Services

  • Our therapy is personalized to work at your own pace and to look for the unique needs of your situation. We work together and pay close attention to your desires and patterns to help you find answers within yourself, develop new insights, and help you create the changes you want if you are dealing with:

Anxiety: intrusive negative thoughts, social interaction.

Depression: fatigue, hopelessness, disproportionate rage, anger or resentment, lost interest, reactiveness.

Loss and Grief: Grieving a death, a loss, divorce, or problems with medical health.

    Socializing.

Parenting: difficulty connecting emotionally with your child, feeling anxious or worried most of the time, transition to parenthood, blended families, pregnancy, adoption.

Life transition: expecting a baby, moving to a new city, changing to a new job, retirement, empty nest, financial problems.

Fulfillment in life: difficulty finding meaning, boredom, indifference to life.

Self-esteem and self-acceptance: critique yourself frequently, lack of self-confidence.

Feeling overwhelmed or stuck: you feel you have too many things to do or you cannot move on.

Shame: feeling unworthy, feeling you are bad or wrong.

Trauma: recurrent images, fear, difficulty with relationships, feeling constantly threatened.

  • Couples therapy sessions are available to couples that are feeling trapped in communication patterns, in continuous conflict, feeling disconnected, or just want to improve an already positive relationship to an even more fulfilling level.

We help you to identify the difficulties that might be preventing your relationship from growing in the way that both you and your partner want. If you or your partner are having these signs, both can benefit from couples therapy:

    Escalating conflicts.

    Emotional distance and loneliness.

    Trust and commitment issues.

Attachment issues: feelings of low self-worth and fear of abandonment (extreme dependence or independence).

Feeling unsupported and emotionally dismissed or difficulty opening emotionally.

Lack of passion and monotony. Do not enjoy spending time together.

    Abuse or infidelity

Different parenting styles, expecting a baby, difficulty having a baby, co-parenting, or blended families.

    Disagreement over finances.

Unresolved grief of a close family member.

Feelings of unfairness in the division of household responsibilities.

Untreated mental health disorders that compromise the relationship.

Difficult upbringing and family of origin trauma that makes it difficult to trust your partner or stay engaged.

Difficulties in Sexuality: Lack of intimacy (lack of desire) or sexual dissatisfaction.
